Regardless if we are omnivores or herbivores, it is not necessary for humans to consume meat in the modern world. So why do we? If it is more ethical, manageably healthy and better for the environment to be a vegetarian/vegan why not? It is not hard to commit yourself to not eating meat. We are just lazy.
